BACHELOR OF EDUCATION

Hi, I’m Sarah and I’ve been with the Ardlie Street team for an incredible ten years.  I’ve has completed my Bachelor in Early Education and have obtained many more certificates along the way.  With ten years’ experience within the industry, it is fair to say that my passion for education and belief in play-based learning is strong.  Over this time I’ve formed many wonderful bonds with our families and children within the service.

I’m a mother to four beautiful boys and enjoys spending time with  family and friends. I’m committed to allowing each child to follow their own interests, using their unique strengths and preferred learning styles.  I believe my teaching experiences must be differentiated to challenge and support positive attitudes towards learning within the kindergarten environment.

BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (EARLY CHILDHOOD)

DIPLOMA IN CHILD PSYCHOLOGY

I have a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and a Child Psychology Diploma. I teach because I love helping children develop a passion for learning. I am able to inspire children by providing learning experiences that are relevant and engaging to each child. I encourage children to delve deeply into areas of interest and I support them on their learning journey. I want children to be confident, capable, inspired individuals.

Play and learning doesn’t stop when you get older! I play guitar, sing, go camping, go hiking and learn other languages (Telugu and Mandarin Chinese). I believe it is important to have physical, mental and spiritual components in life and this is reflected in my classroom.
